Implemention of the MOBI4Health Project is planned within 8 work packages.
WP1: Increasing Human Potential
The objective of WP1 is to improve the level of knowledge and skills of the staff at IFB UG & MUG in order to significantly increase the research potential through employment of experienced scientists and experienced specialists for the new IFB mass spec core facility.
WP 2: Twinning
The activities performed within WP2 will increase the scientific expertise and human potential of IFB UG & MUG. The activities comrise in particular visits of IFB experts and PI’s at the partnering institutions, two-way secondments of researchers; participation of the staff of MOBI4Health Centre in international and regional key events in order to improve their knowledge in their research area as well as promote the MOBI4Health Centre and contribute to its’ integration with the scientific community.
WP 3: Innovation Capacity Building
This WP will place IFB UG & MUG in the top rank among Polish and international research institutions in realising its innovation policy and building strong and stimulating research-business environment. A wide scope of measures is planned to implement this goal, including the development of a strategy of exploiting of innovation capacity of IFB UG & MUG and attracting the RTD potential to industrial partners in the region, country and abroad.
WP 4: Equipment – Improvement of Research Capacity
Improvement of Research Capacity aims at upgrading the research infrastructure of MOBI4Health Centre. Two mass spectrometers and additional equipment will give an input for the increase of research potential.
WP 5: Conferences and Workshops
The objective of WP5 is to promote international knowledge exchange at conferences and workshops. IFB UG&MUG will organise two international conferences and four combined hands-on practical workshops/seminars based on the newly established Mass-Spec Core Facility.
WP 6: Improvement of visibility – promotional activities and dissemination of knowledge
Promotional activities and dissemination of knowledge aims at increasing visibility of the Centre at the European and regional level with focus on all potential stakeholders.

WP 7: Management
The objective is to ensure a smooth implementation of the project in terms of efficiency and consistency. Activities comprise coordination of cooperation with partners, ISC, and project team, management of financial resources and administrative issues as well as monitoring of risk on the one hand and monitoring of success indicators achieved on the other.
WP 8: External Evaluation
An independent assessment of the MOBI4Health Centre”s research potential performed by experts appointed by the European Commission in months 36-42 will evaluate the level of achievement of project objectives and perspectives on sustainability of project output.
