The Tricity jazz quartet formed in 2012. Music presented by Almost Jazz Group is a combination of different styles and personalities kept in jazz-like atmosphere. The group’s repertoire includes jazz standards, original compositions and jazz interpretations of French waltzes, Argentinean tangos and Kashubian folk.
The album Na Kaszëbach published in 2014 presents known Kashubian folk tunes in jazz interpretations. The most popular, most frequently performed and most often listened to Kashubian folk tunes on the quartet’s album captivate with warmth, positive energy and interesting jazz arrangements. Adam Czerwiński participated in the recording of the album.
The debut album Almost Jazz Group & Accordina published in 2012 is a unique combination of modern jazz melody with classical accordion sounds. This rarely encountered blend produces excellent effect and allows one to look at the accordion in terms of jazz in the completely new way. The originality of the album is increased by the title accordina, an instrument with a beautiful sound, so far rarely heard on the Polish stages.
