12th Baltic Festival of ScienceXII Bałtycki Festiwal Nauki

Kids, pupils and adults visted the 12th edition of the Baltic Festival of Science in order to learn what scientist really do in their everyday work. IFB UG&MUG and its research groups involved in MOBI4Health participated actively organising events in Gdansk and Gdynia. Visitors could make giant soap bubbles or eat blue vanilla ice-cream – extraordinarily popular among the youngest visitors, but also see how research is conducted in laboratories, see life in a drop of water and learn how weed can be of use for people. The events has also a touch of magic – visitors got acquainted with secrets of chemistry and fluorescence. They had the possibility to participate in competitions and a plant quiz.
